Toph and Alli

I forgot how much life is lived through the computer. Okay maybe it shouldn’t be… Last week I got a computer virus that slowed my computer down to a crawl. After trying several programs the virus was detected and taken care of, but my computer still moved slow. Fortunately I found out I can just reset to factory settings by doing a reinstall and that took care of it.

A couple of weeks ago we went down to Tacoma to visit the Museum of Glass (which Allison has been bugging me to take her to) After making the journey to Tacoma we parked at the park and ride and took the light rail to the museum of glass (a little mini adventure, within the adventure) We also went to find the highschool on the movie ”ten things I hate about you” and we found a cool park with a greenhouse.

So Allison just discovered we had a blog… I know that she knew we had one before, but she was in denial about it. She also decided that we needed it to look differently, hence the reason it looks like it is a girls blog. It doesn’t make much sense, seeing that I am the one writing the posts?!? She has been working really hard and comes home tired, so she doesn’t take an active role in blogging… the reason our blog is kinda lame (because I’m not as creative as she is). T

his weekend we were going to go to the temple Friday night, but with the snow, it took Allison 2 hours to get home. We planned to go to Cascade park to do some service, but the snow was pretty bad. The highlight of the weekend was, we bought some plants and pots, hopefully they wont die… We are moving on up in the parenting realm, next will be a dog, (or fish). I told Allison if we can’t take care of plants what makes us think we can take care of a kid!?!? She responded, “ITS NOT THE SAME!!!”. Have no fear, we have the unoffical guide to having a baby!

Well I only have a few more days until school begins again. I have practically had 3 weeks off of school. (One week was for finals, but I only had one final to do) To keep myself busy I have ventured to work for my friend Tom and for a family. I have worked with Tom for some time, but recently I have started working for a family doing stuff around their house, on their yacht, and anything else they ask for. They pay me a weekly salary of $400, and I don’t work that many hours.

I am excited to be back in school, but wish I could take more classes and get it done faster. Allison and I haven’t done much lately, but the highlight of the week would probably be grocery shopping… Lame I know, but we got about $100 worth of groceries for $35. Say hello to the power of coupons!

Well, Allison and I just had our 6 month anniversary. We didn’t do anything exciting, but I guess it’s a big deal. We are in the process of paying off our debt, so we are really lame.  We don’t do much, in fact just the other day we went bowling with our friends, and we just watched!?! However, its been great making decisions together, and committing to common goals. We have both grown a lot, in communicating and being considerate of each other.

Well I’m not a big fan of writing down everything that is happening but hopefully that will change and I will improve. Any suggestions on what we should write? (I will try to talk Allison into keeping this up) he he he
